Dave Kissinger is off and running!

Dear friends, supporters and visitors,

It is truly an honor to have begun our campaign to serve the residents of the 46th District at the Ohio Statehouse. Our county is facing many challenges and I have consistently stepped up to serve as a strong advocate for the needs of our community.

As an active member of our community for over a decade, I am deeply committed to improving the quality of life in Northwest Ohio. I am a proud Navy Veteran having served on both land and sea. More recently I have served my community as a Registered Nurse and worked in multiple volunteer capacities with the poor and under served. This experience in community service has provided a great foundation for me to be an effective voice in Columbus.

I am currently employed as a Regional Vice President of maxIT Healthcare, who is the trusted technology advisor and partner to healthcare organizations, providing seasoned professionals and expert guidance to maximize quality, safety, and financial performance. As a key contributor to the success and growth of this small business, I have the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to keep jobs and to create new ones.

As a member of the Ohio House, I will work hard with my colleagues to help jump-start our economy and attract the kinds of high-paying jobs that will provide better opportunities for our young people to stay and work in Lucas County and Ohio.

Since I have begun this process I believe that it is important to communicate my core principles.

1. Our Creator has endowed us with certain rights.
2. These rights should never be threatened by government.
3. Each of us has a responsibility to care for and protect those who are not able to care for or protect themselves.

These core principles are the basis of every aspect of my life and they have shaped me as I have developed my approach to problem solving and established my core beliefs. I believe that it is vitally important that each of us have the courage to stand up for our convictions and the commitment to care for those that need our compassion.
