About Dave

Lucas County is facing many challenges and Dave has consistently stepped up to serve as a strong advocate for the needs of our citizens.

Dave and his wife, Tallie are the proud parents of four wonderful children: Carter (14), Quinten (11), Charlie (5), and Ruby (2), and they live in Maumee, Ohio.

Dave has been an active member of our community for over a decade, he is deeply committed to improving the quality of life in Northwest Ohio.  He has served his country as a proud Navy Veteran having served on both land and sea.  More recently he has served as a Registered Nurse as well as working in multiple volunteer capacities with the poor and under served.

He is currently employed as the Regional Vice President of maxIT Healthcare, (www.maxithc.com) who is the trusted technology advisor and partner to healthcare organizations, providing seasoned professionals and expert guidance to maximize quality, safety, and financial performance.  As a key contributor to the success and growth of this small business, Dave has the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to keep jobs and to create new ones.

Dave currently is the Chair of the Public Relations Committee on the Central and Southern Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, (www.csohimss.org) that supports careers in healthcare information systems in Ohio.  Additionally, he was elected to serve two (2) consecutive terms on the maxIT Healthcare Advisory Board, representing the interests of the consultants to the management team.

Dave and his wife are missional members at CedarCreek Church, (http://cedarcreek.tv/) and he and his family are now attending the new South Toledo campus.  Dave has actively served at CedarCreek Church in countless volunteer and leadership roles for over ten (10) years.
